Maldives and India are trying to mend their relations after anti-Indian rhetoric during the Maldivian election. Pakistan’s macroeconomic woes never go away, and Bangladesh sought a ‘crawling peg exchange rate’ against the USD. The region faces the wrath of heatwaves, exacerbated by climate change.
